About Us
I was born May 22, 1981 in Bolivar, TN. I am truly blessed to have been born into a great family. My grandfathers, Rev. James Chessor and Rev. T. R. Foster, are both former pastors who between them have over 70 years of ministry experience. Both of these men and their wives have been instrumental in modeling true apostolic character. As you can see, God has blessed me with strong Godly roots on both sides of my family. Only eternity will reveal the value of the prayers of my family.
The little country town of Pocahontas, TN was where I lived the majority of my life and attended church. When I was ten years old, the church (Pocahontas Church of the Lord Jesus Christ) decided to send the youth to a camp. It was there, at Holiness Hill near Parsons TN, where I received the gift of the Holy Ghost. When I returned home, my grandfather gladly baptized me in Jesus Name. Six years later, I found myself in need of a spiritual renewal and a personal rededication to the Lord. This took place at a youth camp near Henderson, TN in 1997. It was during this time of rededication that a desire was born in me to find my role in the kingdom of God. This would have never taken place without the patience and guidance of wonderful youth leaders (Rev. Shane and Angel Chessor). Their efforts to keep me actively involved in the church have made a lasting impact on my life.
While in my senior year of High School, I met the love of my life, Renae Dixon at a youth service in Bolivar, Tn. She had the desire for God’s will, as I did. Over a period of time, we realized that the hand of the Lord had brought us together. We attended many revivals, special services, and youth rallies. Several great men gave us their blessing and said that God was going to use us. One of those men was my youth pastor, who saw the call of God on my life, even though I didn’t. He very wisely decided to move me from my position as a drummer, to getting me involved in various pulpit responsibilities. During those experiences, it became very clear to me what my calling was. So on August 3, 1999, just three days before our wedding, while leading a testimony service at my home church, the anointing fell, and with the permission of my pastor, I preached my first sermon.
After a training period at my home church, My pastor gave me the privilege of preaching in other churches. Many great pastors invited me to come and minister to their churches. Each of them shared great wisdom and insights they had gained through the years. By sharing their time and experiences with us, we were able to learn many lessons before actually facing them. This has truly been an irreplaceable tool in our ministry. Their influence will never be forgotten.
During the first three years of our marriage we worked full-time jobs and preached out on weekends. Gradually, the invitations became more and more frequent. Weekend invitations started becoming extended revivals and we were having a difficult time working and preaching. In October of 2002, due to the amount of revivals scheduled and with the support of our Pastor and families, we felt God calling us to the field of full-time evangelism. The Following March, God blessed us with a truck and a travel-trailer. We are now in our 3rd RV. We have been evangelizing full-time now for almost 8 years. We have had the privilege of being a part of great revivals, have seen many souls born into the kingdom, and have witnessed numerous miracles. We have a burning desire to experience revival in this country and around the world.
